I love that the face of the snake is the focus, and it slowly starts to blur. I like that this photo followed the rule of third as well, it draws attention to the face.
This photo shows a cute little snake from a really close perspective, this allows the animal to be front and center in the image, the texture of the scales are shown very nicely.
